Dear FDOT
:

I am not an Attorney.  I am a Private Citizen, a Service Disabled Veteran, and an Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Advocate.  I can not afford to pay your high Redaction and Clerical for the two below referenced Public Records Requests.

1.  Your 2/5/2020 response to my 1/13/2019 Public Records Request resulted in 4,500 Records and would cost $7,700.00 in Redaction and Clerical Fees.

2.  Your 2/15/2020 response to my 2/5/2020 Public Records Requested resulted in 1,557 Records and would cost $2,316.00 in Redaction and Clerical Fees.

Therefore, I would like to submit a Public Records Request that is a basic Data Query and should not require Redaction and Clerical Fees of Individual Crash Reports.

Request 1: (Marked Mid-Block Crosswalk Deaths by Gender for the year 2018.

In the year 2018 how many Florida Pedestrian have been killed By Gender at Marked  Mid-Block Crosswalks / Pedestrian Safety Islands, on Multiple Lane Roads, with AADT of 40,000 or above,
and with Speed Limits of 40mph or Above. (FDOT reported a Yearly Average of 225)

Request 2:  (Unmarked Mid-Block Crosswalks by Gender for the year 2018).

In the year 2018 how many Florida Pedestrian have been killed By Gender at Unmarked  Mid-Block Crosswalks / Pedestrian Safety Islands, on Multiple Lane Roads, with AADT of 40,000 or above,
and with Speed Limits of 40mph or Above. (FDOT reported a yearly average of 130)

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jeff Redding
